THE OWNERS
Paul & Ashleigh Ernest have long shared a passion for all things boating, camping, and fishing. They met whilst working on the Agincourt ribbon reefs and have since circumnavigated Australia fishing their way through the Kimberley’s, the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea, and remote islands of Indonesia.
Settling down in their favorite place of all Port Douglas they have welcomed little Samantha to the family and enjoy nothing more than getting her Out n About.

You could not ask for a more experienced guide to get you Out n About. Paul has seen and done it all from shark fishing to managing the day boats at Heron Island you couldn’t be in better hands. He loves nothing more than having a chat and wetting a line!

True Blue Far North Queensland Angler Casey has loads of experience inshore, offshore and estuarine fishing. He is a passionate Port Douglas local and loves nothing more than putting his guests onto some fish.

Tessa and Syd have lived and breathed boats, the ocean, and fishing their whole lives. Both qualified skippers and keen fishermen/women this business has given them the platform to do what they love every day. Not only that, they now get to share their local knowledge and passion for fishing and boating with visitors to the region.
Although Tessa still loves to get a line wet, since having their daughter Pearl, she runs the logistical side of the business while Syd is hands-on pulling in the big ones.

Vessels boast top of the line rod and reels, electric anchor winches, the latest electronics, shade canopies and comfortable seating. Parents can relax while on-board as both vessels are designed with high sides to keep the little ones safe.
